By using the XZONO website or client portal operated by XZONO (PTY) LTD (Registration No. 2026/739337/07) (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
Business customers (companies using the business portal) are also subject to our Terms of Service.
1. What XZONO is
XZONO is an online local business directory and related software for South Africa. Listings and services are provided by independent businesses. XZONO is a platform; unless we expressly say otherwise, we are not the provider of the treatments or services you book.
2. Accounts
- Keep your login details confidential.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Provide accurate information.
- We may suspend or close accounts used for abuse, fraud, spam registration, password guessing, scraping, or other harmful behaviour.
3. Acceptable use
You may use XZONO for lawful personal purposes (or as authorised by a business that invited you).
You must not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access, disrupt the service, or overload our systems
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically download content or user data
- Create fake accounts or spam bookings
- Probe passwords or circumvent security controls
- Upload unlawful, offensive, or infringing content
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
4. Bookings and business content
Appointment availability, prices, and services are controlled by each business. Disputes about a service you received should first be raised with that business. XZONO may help facilitate communication but is not automatically liable for a business’s performance.
5. Intellectual property
XZONO branding, software, and site design are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or exploit the platform except as allowed by law or written permission.
6. Disclaimers
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free content. Directory information is supplied largely by businesses and may change.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Courts of South Africa have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms. The “Last updated” date on this page will change when we publish revisions.
